Jack E. Maples, 71, died October 12 at his home of natural causes. Jack was born February 26, 1942 in Corpus Christi, TX, to Daniel Clarence Maples and Iris Patricia (Farmer) Maples. Jack served in the Navy and was honorably discharged in May 1963. He married Carolyn White of Bozeman November 13, 1965 and continued to enjoy Carolyn’s extended family long after their divorce in 1977. As a professional, Jack was employed by Arrowhead Transportation, Yellowstone Molasses Service, and Garrett Freight Lines, retiring from NW Transportation in 2004.

He was preceded in death by his father, mother Patricia Maples Raundal, and step father Robert Raundal of Helena. He is survived by cousins Diana Lindvay, Ronnie Farmer and Rodney Farmer of Amarillo, TX, numerous nieces and nephews including a special niece, Lisa Klassen of Molalla, OR.

An easy friend, a gentle and generous man, Jack will be missed by those that knew him.

Cremation has taken place.

    Jack was our dear neighbor. He was a kind and gentle soul and will be missed so much. He was always doing something nice for others. Jack you will always be in our hearts and remembered fondly. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of Jack’s family. There are no words that can easy the loss of such a kind man.
