Rebecca Lynn Reichert

Rebecca Reichert

Rebecca Lynn Reichert was born May 11, 1976, in Billings, to Richard Reichert and Kim Premo. Rebecca passed away March 28, 2020, at Billings Clinic, after a long battle with metastatic kidney cancer. She was 43 years old.

She is preceded in death by her father, Richard. She is survived by her mother, Kim Premo; her four children, Kelsey, Seth, Makayla and Roman; and her three siblings, Regina, Ricky and Rachelle.

Rebecca loved her children and her family more than anything in the world; she never failed to let them know. Rebecca loved God; she loved watching her kids play sports and being there for all of their events. She was big on finding good TV shows to watch, and loved movie nights with her kids.

Rebecca was also very generous and never failed to help those who needed it. She had the biggest heart and wore her smile like a crown.

It would be wrong to say that Rebecca lost her battle, because she never stopped fighting. No matter how sick she was, she always stayed optimistic. When anyone else would have broken, she stayed strong. Through her, we know what perseverance and resilience is. There was no quit in Rebecca; she never gave up. Just because she is no longer here doesn’t mean she lost her fight. Her spirit will live on in those she loves forever.

The Watcher

She always leaned to watch for us

Anxious if we were late,

In winter by the window,

In summer by the gate.

And though we mocked her tenderly

Who had such foolish care,

The long way home would seem more safe,

Because she waited there.

Her thoughts were all so full of us,

She never could forget,

And so I think that where she is

She must be watching yet.

Waiting ’til we come home to her

Anxious if we are late

Watching from Heaven’s window

Leaning on Heaven’s gate.

I want to give the Reichert Family my love & prayers. Rebecca is with Richard, and they will always watch over all of us. I am so very sorry!!

  2. Rebecca had the most beautiful personality of anyone I knew. She was the light in so many dark times, and she loved those four kids of hers with all her heart. She would always talk about how they were her world, and I can’t imagine how their worlds changed when it was no longer graced with her presence. She was such a strong woman, and her fight is shown and continued on in her kids. God, just looking at Kelsey reminds me so much of Rebecca when she was younger; oh but that Makayla reminds me so much of Becky when she got older. All of her kids have her features and her spirit lives on in them all. They were all too young to have lost someone that important to them. I remember her boys, Seth and Roman; they were Mama boys for sure. I would always hear about how much she loved them play sports and how proud she was of Seth for going on and completing his high set to get that equivalent diploma. Oh and her youngest and how smart he was, she was so proud of all the kids she raised and how good they turned out. I know if she could have, she would have been here for so much longer; living everyday to the best of her abilities and making sure everyone around her was taken care of. I can’t believe beautiful Becky is gone, but I can only imagine the amount of pain and grief I feel is multiplied in her kids. Kelsey, Seth, Makayla, and Roman please reach out if you ever need anything. Make sure to be there for each other as well, your mama would have wanted you all to be in each others lives no matter what happens. Take care of yourselves and watch out for each other- it takes a while to heal, and those emotional scars never do really go away. All my love and condolences.
