  1. I’ll never forget all the memories we shared so many years ago. Watching our children grow and the fun times we had at the bowling alley. And we can’t forget the early morning breakfasts we shared at each others homes. Gil was like family, working with my mother for so many years at the bakery, He will be missed! My thought and prayers are with the family. Thank you all for being in my life.

  2. Though Gil has joined the angels up above (including Randy) the memories of him and all the good times will remain with me always. RIP Gilbert

I am sorry to hear of Gil’s passing. He was a stalwart member of Little Flower parish. May he rest in peace.

  4. I always enjoyed cooking at Little Flower Church with Gil for first Sunday breakfasts and special occasions. Gil and Aggie together taught me how to make gravy many years ago. I find peace in knowing that Gil and Randy are united in paradise. Gil was always an inspiration to me with his Catholic faith. Good good man! My prayers are with the family at this time. God bless 🙏🙏 Jim Rye

Marge, Bitsy and I were saddened to hear of Gil’s death. We have considered you both to be friends since our Little Flower days. You were both so generous with your time at all the activities at the parish, and that continued with your generosity to St. Vincent de Paul. You were in our prayers during his fight with his heart issues and with Covid. Know that we are available to assist you in anything you need.. Harry Merchant

  11. So sorry to hear of Gil’s passing. We worked together at St Vincent de Paul in the scrap metals. Gil taught me a lot and I am forever grateful. He was a man of God and gave his heart to whatever he did. I miss working with him. Ed Becker

  12. I am sorry to hear 0f the passing of my great friend and fellow fisherman. Gil and I spent many days in his boat and also ice fishing in the winter. We even caught a few fish!!!
Gil made the best sausage and salami and smoked
them to perfection in his home made smoker. (made out of an old refrigerator)
I always looked forward to our long conversations over coffee at the Muzzleloader Cafe.
Gil was a true mechanic. He could repair anything from a pocket watch to a cement mixer. The hitch he welded on my 4-wheeler is as solid now as the day he built it. My favorite tool drawer in my garage is the one he made out of some old wood and a bunch of dicscarded metal bread pans from the bakery where he used to work.
I’m sure Gil has gone through the gates of heaven to be with our Lord. Knowing Gil, he may have noticed a slight sag or heard a small squeak as he went through the Pearly Gates.
I’d bet his first comment to St. Peter would be” do you have a wrench and an oil can, so I can fix that?”
We miss you!!!Bob and Connie Koch
