Agnes Denowh Profile Photo

In loving memory of Agnes Denowh, age 88, of Billings, who peacefully journeyed to her heavenly home in the comforting embrace of our Lord Jesus Christ on March 5, 2024.

Agnes leaves an enduring mark on the hearts of those she touched. She is survived by her sisters, Linda Madill (husband Cecil), Diana Nichols (husband Ken), and brother-in-law Jerry Oblander. Her pride and dedication was cherished by her beloved daughters, Janet Hundertmark and Lynn (husband Trey) Adkins. Agnes, a devoted soul, adored her five grandchildren: Samantha (husband Michael) Frank, Ferris Hundertmark, McKenna Adkins, Kloe Adkins, Lauryn Adkins, and her great-grandchild, Miller Frank. She reunites with her loved ones gone before — her parents, Gustave and Pauline Schlecht; and her sister, Nathalia Oblander “Dolly.”

Our deepest gratitude extends to Pastor Jay Bickelhaupt, whose love and support have been a constant source of comfort to Agnes and her family throughout the years. The church family at Apostles Lutheran Church held a special place in her heart, shaping her journey with her Lord and Savior.

Additionally, our heartfelt thanks go to the compassionate staff at TenderNest, who not only cared for Agnes but also created a haven of comfort in her final days. Their diverse and loving team makes an immeasurable difference in the lives of TenderNest residents, and we find their dedication truly inspirational and humbling. Each individual contributes to a warmth and care that goes beyond mere duty, leaving a lasting impact on the hearts they touch. We also appreciate the exceptional patience and kindness of all the staff at Stillwater Hospice during this difficult time.

Agnes led a life brimming with love for God, faithfully following His path. Her commitment to family defined her existence, as she poured love and care into each cherished member. Agnes worked at The Western Manor and took great pride, dedication, and integrity in her work; her work ethic was inspiring. Our hearts ache as we bid farewell to our beloved “Aggie,” her spirit forever etched in our memories.

A private memorial will be held for the family at Apostles Lutheran Church, where she attended since its inception in 1969.
