Alice Ann Berry Profile Photo

Alice-Ann Wright Berry, otherwise known as Pat, passed away Saturday, Nov.12, 2011, at the age of 83. Formerly from Big Timber, she had been residing at Meadowlark Assisted Living in Columbus.

Alice-Ann was born July 30, 1928 in Lewistown, MT, to Clayton and Rhea Wright. In 1937, the family moved to Billings, where she graduated from Billings Senior High in 1946. After high school, she worked as a teller at Security Trust & Savings Bank in Billings.

She married Gail Warner Berry, June 1, 1948. They lived and ranched south of Reed Point before moving to Big Timber in 1973. Pat loved working in her yard and always had the most beautiful flower gardens. She also enjoyed needlepoint and knitting, ceramics, calligraphy, coin and stamp collecting. Pat and Gail were married for 50 wonderful years before Gail passed away in 1998.

Pat is survived by her two sons, Mark (Barbara) of Reed Point, and Stephen of Gillette, WY; sister, Rhea (John) Shoaff of Molt; brother, J. Clayton (Betty) Wright of Laurel; grandchildren, Jason (Kira) Berry, Pamela (Lance) Lehto, Paula (Ron) Berry; and great grandchildren, Warren, Anthony, and Quinn Berry, Brandon Lehto, Ashley and Casey Gunlikson.

Private services are planned with interment at Sunset Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Billings Clinic Behavioral Clinic or the charity of one's choice.

Grandma, I want you to know how truly special you were to us. You will always be remembered for your thoughtfulness- how carefully you picked out gifts and cards, how you created art with every package you ever wrapped, and the extra touches you added to everything. You were always so neat and cute. I hope the others won't mind, but you were, and will always be, my favorite grandma...

Remembrances

Mark, Barbara and family: We extend our thoughts and prayers at this time of Pat’s passing. We’ll always first think of her at the ballgames with Gail, cheering for the Herders! We hope the happy memories of your mother and grandmother bring comfort at this time.
