Allene R. Krebsbach died the morning of October 15, 2007 in the presence of her family at St Vincent Hospital, due to many complications from strokes.
She was born in Bismarck, ND March 11, 1924 as an only child to parents Arthur and Emma Small. She grew up on a farm north of Bismarck. Graduated from Bismarck High School, attended Bismarck Junior College, and graduated from ND State University in 1947. Allene taught Home Economics in McCluskey, ND and other public schools, at many levels for several years. She taught. elementary school at Mooreton, ND. In 1951 Allene married Kevin Krebsbach, of McCluskey, ND at Mason City, IA. After living in Fargo, ND and eastern MN they moved to Billings, MT in 1957.
Allene enjoyed participating in 4H Leadership activities including judging foods at county fairs. She was a member and served as Elder and Deacon of the First Presbyterian Church. Allene was a member of the Billings Professional Home Economists (now Billings Association of Family and Consumer Services). She worked as a nutritionist at the Deering Clinic. Allene also volunteered as a consultant in nutrition for various programs in Billings. Allene was a fantastic cook and belonged to several gourmet clubs in Billings. She loved outdoor activities (fishing, hunting, and camping) with her family. After retirement, Allene enjoyed RVing with her family throughout the US.
Survivors include her Husband: Kevin; Daughter: Renita (John) Weber in Little Falls, NJ; Son: Kurt (Davina) Krebsbach and 3 grandchildren: Joyshe’, Kyla, and Kip in Miles City, MT.
Memorials can be made to Special K Ranch or First Presbyterian Church.
A memorial service will be held Friday, October 19th at 10:00am at First Presbyterian Church with a private graveside service. Remembrances Please leave your name and remembrance in this public guest book.
