Anna Aldinger, 93 of Billings, passed away on May 10, 2009 at St. John's Lutheran Home in Billings. Anna was born March 4, 1916 at Baker, Montana, the daughter of Benjamin and Christina (Schweigert) Huber. She was raised on the family farm in the Willard Area. Anna married Theodore (Ted) Aldinger on October 2,1938, in Plevna.
They farmed many years south of Plevna. In 1965 they moved to Billings, Montana and purchased the Parkway Motel. They sold the motel and then bought a duplex where she lived until entering Assisted Living at St. John's Lutheran Home in 2003. She has resided in Billings since moving here in 1965. She was a Christian and attended church until moving to St. John's, and attended worship services there in the last years. She had three daughters, Lila, LeVera and Phyllis.
Anna is survived by her two daughters, LeVera Hickey of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Phyllis Dozier of Las Vegas, Nevada; four grandchildren, Brian Dozier of Los Angeles, California, Darin Dozier of Las Vegas, Nevada, Lori Watkins,-Gurule and her husband, Robert Gurule of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Trey Hickey and his wife (Aivary) of Phoenix, Arizona; four great-grandchildren, Nicole, Alexis, Samantha, and Emily; and two step great-grandchildren, Cheyenne and Duggy. She is also survived by one brother-in-law, Marvin Aldinger; two sisters-in- law, Alma Robertson and Emma Meitling; numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ted, in 1991; her daughter, Lila, who had rheumatoid arthritis, in 1989; her parents, one brother, Christ Huber; and one sister Tillie Follmer; her son- in-law, Larry Hickey; numerous relatives and friends.
Anna spent her life working with her husband on the farm, in the motel, housecleaning, taking, are of her grandparents on the farm when she was young, taking care of her daughter Lila, who had rheumatoid arthritis, and helping with her grandson, Darin who has muscular dystrophy.
Visitation will be held at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary from 12-8 p.m. on Tuesday. Funeral Services will he held at 11:00 a.m., on Wednesday, May 13, at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
