Anna Rekdal, 88, of Billings, passed peacefully at Ponderosa Pines Healthcare, on Oct. 5, 2016.
Anna was born on June 14, 1928, to Felix and Mathelda (Michel) Ott in Fromberg. She married James Rekdal on July 1, 1946, in Billings, where they made their home and raised their family. Anna and James were blessed with three children. She was a wonderful homemaker, loving wife and mother, caring grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed sewing, crafting, cooking, gardening and canning.
Anna is precede in death by her parents, husband and daughter Marlene. She was also preceded in death by 13 siblings.
She is survived by her brother, Mike Ott; son John Rekdal, daughter Kathy (Bert) Stiles; four grandchildren, Shane/Lisa, Carrie/Steve, Chris/Mark and Pam/Shawn; four great-grandchildren, Alaina, Seth, Morgan and Cassidy; and also special friend, Ed Odegard.
Viewing will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12, at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary, 1001 Alderson Ave. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 13, at Michelotti-Sawyers.
