Annabelle (Jeffrey) Turner, our dearly loved mother died January 16,2015 surrounded by her 7 children. She was born August 21, 1924 to Fred and Marion Jeffrey and raised on their farm in Grand Forks, ND. She married Lyle P. Turner in 1942 in Quincy, MA. After WWII, dad went to college while mom sold her famous meatloaf sandwiches to support their family. She had an ability to cope with difficult circumstances with a positive attitude. Annabelle is survived by her 7 children; Laurie (George) Scheeler, Marian Kay, Bruce, Lyle, and Malcolm (Debbie) Turner, Deanna (Dick) McCann, Scott (Gail) Turner, 12 grandchildren, 17 ½ great grandchildren, 4 great, great grandchildren and her sister, Mary Fontaine. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lyle P.Turner, parents and 8 siblings. Annabelle enjoyed many years as owner of AB's Antiques & Things. She was thankful for the many friends made during her business years. She loved her family, dancing and Hawaii where she will be laid to rest. Our family wants to thank our brother, Lyle who cared for mother in her later years supporting her desire to remain in her home. Mother always said, "Something better is just around the corner." She was cherished by all who knew her. May she rest in God's peaceful arms. Viewing will be held Tuesday, Jan. 20 from 6-8pm and Memorial service at 11am on Wednesday, Jan. 21 both at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary. Memorials may be made to your favorite charity in lieu of flowers.
