Bart Travis Bieber

Bart Travis Bieber, 41 of Billings, went to the “Great Fishing Hole ” to be with his Heavenly Father on July 24, 2011. He was recreating with his family at a Billings pool and had a fatal accident.

He was born on May 9, 1970 in Townsend, Montana to Nathan and Marcia Bieber. He attended school in Broadwater County and spent a time in Hawaii where he met his best friend and wife Therese. They married in Townsend in 1996 and have three children, Joseph, Margaret and Elizabeth who reside at the family home in Billings.

Bart is also survived by his father Nathan (Gwen) and mother, Marcia of Townsend; sister Jamie Sura (husband Mike, children Michael , Travis, Andrew and Molly) of Lewistown; Grandmother Doris McCoy of Townsend; and so many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

The casket will be open at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary for visitation from 8 a.m.- p.m. Thursday through Saturday, with the family receiving friends on Saturday from 1-3 p.m. Cremation will follow. Memorial Services for Bart will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, July 31, at Mount Olive Lutheran Church (2336 St. John's Ave, Billings).

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations sent in his children's name to Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, 19 36th St. West, Billings, MT 59102, to supplement their education fund.
