Today we celebrate the life of Bonnie as she reunites with her husband Paul, the love of her life. She will always be remembered for her kindness, faith, strength and devotion to her family as well as all the people she touched in her life.

Born on July 1, 1933 in Huron South Dakota to Loretta and Arnold Hegamo, Bonnie was one of five children. She grew up in Butte and attended both public schools and Butte Community College.

On April 16, 1960 Bonnie married Norman "Paul" Miller and together they began their family life journey. They eventually settled in Deer Lodge and raised five children.

Bonnie served as Powell County Clerk & Recorder for 14 years. After leaving office her efforts transitioned to assisting families struggling with alcohol dependencies. She always made time to support various community projects as well as being very active in her church.

After retirement Bonnie and Paul moved to Seeley to live out their remaining years. Not letting grass grow under their feet, they became active in the area youth programs, Senior Citizen Center, Lions and Living Water Catholic Church.

Family was very important to Bonnie and you didn't have to be a blood relative for her to embrace you as such. Her family network extended to every group and individual she met. She never missed an opportunity to share a cup of coffee or glass of wine with a friend.

Bonnie is survived by her sisters Darleen Choquette Dorothy Masonavich of Butte; her brother Ralph (Mardel) Hegemo of Missoula; three sons, Joel (Tatsaina) Miller, Kevin (Bernadette) Miller of Las Vegas Nv., Steve (Anna) Miller of Allentown Pa; two daughters, Jeanie Carlton of Lebanon Mo., Paullette (Todd) Thelen of Billings Mt; 11 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. Bonnie is preceded in death by her husband Paul, in 2005; her parents and one sister.
