He moved with his family to Billings in 1979 where he met and married the love of his life Doreen Job in 1984. Together they had two beautiful children, Brandon and Brianne. His greatest love was for his wife and his children whom he treasured. Brian and Brandon enjoyed wrestling matches, talking about cars and just hanging out. Brian and Brianne loved the game of basketball, he was her greatest fan and enjoyed practicing together and watching her games. Brian was so very proud of Brandon and Brianne. He had a special bond with his dogs, Sydney and Maxie. He was an avid golfer, enjoyed playing pool, and always loved a great hockey game. Brian loved spending time with his close knit family and shared many a practical joke at their numerous family reunions. He really cherished these times when all of the family was together. He usually was the instigator of the kid's mischievous moments and if not, right in the middle of it. He was a wonderful husband, son, father, brother, and uncle.
