CeCe Ensrud passed away on Nov. 26, 2015, after a long illness and complications from Parkinson's disease. She was born in Minneapolis on Aug. 27, 1939.

She married Terry Danelson and, together, they had three children and farmed in Scobey for several years.

After divorcing, Cecelia relocated to Billings and worked as a retail clerk for a clothing store and a sales manager for the Ramada Inn before starting her matchmaking business of One to One introductions. CeCe was very proud of this business, as she was instrumental in bringing about several lasting marriages.

In 1995, she became the Placement Officer for May Technical College, where she helped students find employment and navigate through the trials of reinventing their lives.

She was an active member of MAFE (Montana Association of Female Executives), WIFE (Montana Women Involved in Farm Economics) and Faith Chapel. She especially loved to dance and sing along with friends or in the choir at church, and volunteered for many nonprofit charity events.

In 1997, she married Pete Ensrud. After retiring, they spent a year traveling the U.S. as KOA campground inspectors, then spent their summers working in Teton National Park, where they explored, hiked and enjoyed nature to the fullest. Winters were spent at their home on Lake Mead, Nev., where CeCe painted pictures of the nature she loved.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Cheri Marconi, and survived by her daughter Debbie Ricci of Missoula, son Joe Danelson of California, several grandchildren whom she loved and cherished, and many friends who adored her and are grateful for all the fun, love and happiness she brought into our lives.

A heartfelt thank you goes to Eagle Cliff Nursing Home and staff for all the years of loving care she received while living there.

Dance on, CeCe ... you are loved and missed!

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 18, at Faith Chapel, 517 Shiloh Road in Billings. Lunch will be served following.
