If you're reading this, you probably know that I passed on June 7, 2018. I have taken on the task of crafting my obituary myself. Over all, I had a very good life.
For a brief history:
I was born in 1942 in Wyoming. We moved to Billings in 1955.
I graduated from Billings Senior in 1961. I played basketball for Bill Lazetich and legion baseball for Eddie Bayne.
I finished college at Rocky, majoring in basketball and received a teaching degree. I was a 30 point man for the Bears. I got in when we were 30 points ahead or 30 points behind.
After school, my wife at that time, Clarice, and I moved to Stanford, Montana, to teach and coach, then onto Caldwell, Idaho, where I also taught and coached. We adopted a son, Cameron, and had a foster son, Richard Deleon. We later adopted a daughter, Carrie.
I married Alice Tucker in November of 1983. We enjoyed 35 years together. We moved to Bozeman and I became an entertainment producer for Miller Productions.
I loved sports and in the later years played golf at Hilands. I thoroughly enjoyed the game, particularly when I heard all the whining when I won a few bucks.
I have been lucky to enjoy a lot of extended family and friends.
Survived by my brother Curt Lewis (Julie); my sister Jeanette (Bud Reichenbach); caretakers, Doug and Laura; stepdaughters, Scotta Anderson and her sons, Jeremiah, Jacob and Ben, and Shana Cetraro (Shawn); grandchildren, Sam, Grace, Sofia; stepson, Chuck Tucker and children Tyre, Zachary, Wesley; many nieces and nephews.
For the last time, I will be buying refreshments and hors d'oeuvres for friends and family at Hilands, 714 Poly Drive, on Friday, June 22, between 3 and 5 p.m.
My love to you all. It was a good ride.
