[gn_spacer size=”20″] [gn_heading style=”1″]Chester Einar Carlson[/gn_heading] My brother Chet died on September 5, 2006 in Townsend, Montana due to cancer.
The youngest son of Anna and Axel Carlson, he was born on January 30, 1931 in Edgar, Montana. Chet grew up in Edgar. When he was young, he loved to ride horses. He also loved to dance.
Chester joined the Navy at the age of 17. He served his country during the Korean War aboard the USS Boxer as a Radar Man. After leaving the Navy he traveled and worked as a miner.
Chester is survived by his brother Edward (Jackie) of Billings, a daughter, two sons, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Preceding him in death were his mother, father, brothers: Arthur, Gernard, Harry, and half-brother, Larry, and special niece, Debra Carlson in 2005.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 P.M., on Friday, September 8, at Rockvale Cemetery.
