Cindy passed from this world to a new adventure on February 23, 2012 at her home in Huntley, with her children by her side, after a short battle with cancer. Cindy was born on May 20, 1959, the second of two daughters to Tom and Betty Beven, in Billings. Cindy had quite an imagination as a child, and would turn everything into an adventure. Growing up, she enjoyed camping and fishing. She could be standing along the river with her line tangled up and guys would come out of nowhere to help her. She had the ability to talk to anyone and she could make you feel comfortable.

She graduated from Billings Senior High in 1978. Prior to graduation she met Eldon Johnson and they were married on May 6, 1978. To this union, two children were born, Nicholas and Julia. Cindy and Eldon later divorced however they remained close friends.

Cindy held numerous positions throughout her life, her most recent and favorite job was at Windstone Medical Packaging where she was employed at the time of her death.

She is survived by her children, Julia of Bozeman and Nicholas of Huntley; parents Tom and Betty Beven and sister Ann (Calvin) Bauer, all of Billings. She is also survived by her former husband, friend, and secret admirer Eldon Johnson of Shepherd.

The family would like to thank RiverStone Hospice for their wonderful care and compassion in Cindy's final days. Friends are encouraged to make any donations to RiverStone Hospice.

At Cindy's request, no services are planned. Cremation has taken place and inurnment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
