Cindy Lou Vandever, 52, went home to her Lord and Saviour early Saturday morning. Cindy was born in Worthington, MN to Clarence and Lois Murray on May 26, 1959. Being the child of a military service man, her family relocated frequently, and finally settled in Visalia, CA. There she obtained her associate's degree in Interior Design. During this time she met her husband, Michael, and began 31 years of marriage blessed by God, in which they had two children, Jason and Heather.

The Lord blessed Cindy with an artistic ability, allowing her to minister to others through her artwork. She was a talented sculptor, painter, florist, decorator, and creator of stained glass. She demonstrated an amazing knack for moulding outwardly unattractive situations into something truly beautiful and appealing. She taught her children and grandchildren to always look for the best in every situation. Cindy witnessed this throughout her long battle with cancer, always worrying about how others were handling it and never bringing others down with her struggles. Her family and friends will always remember her for her brilliant smile and contagiously cheerful attitude. Her love of life spilled to all around her, and her love of color, antiques, nature, family, and friends have spilled into all homes.

Cindy is dancing in Heaven with Jesus for eternity, along with her father, Clarence, and brothers, Randal and David.

Cindy is survived by her husband, Mike; children, Jason (Tiffany) Vandever and Heather (David) Loya; grandchildren, Aubrie and Bradey Vandever; mother, Lois Murray; sisters, Michelle Raper and Rebecca Bouchillon; grandmother, Lucille Murray; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

May we celebrate her time here with us on Earth and her banquet with her Father in Heaven. Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, August 3rd at 2 pm, at Rocky Mountain Community Church. Memorial donations may be sent to LaVie.
