Cletus E. Grine, Jr., 53, of Billings, formerly of Tiffin, Ohio, passed away peacefully at 1:05 p.m. Saturday, April 13, 2019, at Advance Health Care Hospital in Montana, surrounded by his caregivers.
He was born on Dec. 25, 1965, in Tiffin, to Cletus and Martha (Hakes) Grine.
Survivors include his sister, Anna (Vernice) Shoemaker of Fostoria; and brothers, George (Pam) Grine, Sr. of Florida, Richard (Deb) Grine of Tiffin, Bill (Terry) Grine of Lancaster, and Mark Grine of Fremont.
Cletus was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, George and Annabell Hakes; and sisters, Sharon Grine, Brenda (Grine) Capeheart and Cindy (Grine) Suffecool.
At birth, he was the first life flight out of Tiffin. He attended Seneca County School of Opportunity before moving to Montana. Buddy loved listening to CCR and Alan Jackson music "Real Loud." And loved the color blue. He was also quite the ladies' man. His giving spirit carried on when he gave the gift of sight by donating his corneas posthumously.
God has a special place for him and was loved by all his family members.
There will be no visitation at this time.
