Cliff Weller passed away Oct. 8, 2017. He was born in Omaha, Nebraska, on Dec. 26, 1925, to Clifford R. Weller, Sr. and Eleanor Jaquith Weller. His mother passed away before he was 2 years old and Clifford Sr. remarried Hazel Burke.

Cliff attended Luther College in Nebraska and Denver University in Colorado.

In 1951, he moved to Billings and went to work for Keil Grocery. Here, he met his future wife, Gladys Hurlburt. They were married in 1952. He worked for the same company until retirement in 1991 with time out from 1979 to 1982 to own/operate a Taco John's in Lewiston, Idaho.

After retirement, Cliff and Gladys delivered Meals on Wheels, volunteered at Billings Airport Information Booth, Central Christian Church and South Park Senior Center. Cliff also enjoyed fishing, golfing, long walks, and playing pool and pinochle with his friends.

Cliff was preceded in death by his parents; stepmother; wife Gladys; brother Charles Weller; and sister Jane Mendenhall.

He is survived by three daughters, Carol Holzer (Bill) of Whitehall, Lori Eagelston (Brad) of Wilsonville, Oregon, and Janet Weller of Lyons, Colorado. He is also survived by four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and younger brother Ralph Weller (Betty) of Big Timber.

No services are planned, at the request of Cliff.
