Colleen Patricia Studer

Colleen Patricia Studer, 55, of Billings, passed away early Dec. 18, 2017, surrounded by her family.

Colleen was born March 16, 1962, the third child to Dean and Constance Studer. She grew up breaking her leg skiing, balancing basketball and cheerleading, and creating memories that would last a lifetime with her family.

Colleen was a jack of many trades. She was daughter, a sister, a mother, a Mimi, a best friend, a rapeller, a white water rafter, and a quilter. She was an avid reader, and has quite possibly read her way through Amazon's entire library.

Colleen's greatest accomplishment was most certainly her four children. Whether they were driving to or from home or work, had something important they needed to tell her, needed advice, were bored or simply needed to hear her voice, she was always there to listen, advise or joke with them. Her greatest blessings called her Mimi.

During the fall, Colleen spent her Sundays colorfully cheering on her Seattle Seahawks. After this weekend's 42- 7 loss to the Los Angeles Rams, they'll be needing their 12th man, who now has the best seat in the house. GO SEAHAWKS!

Colleen is preceded in death by her parents, both sets of grandparents, and nephew Joseph Walker. She is survived by her children: daughters Deana (Ken), Shelby and Margaret and son Daniel; grandchildren Everlee, Preslee and Marshall; siblings Kathy (Craig), Chrissy (Mark), Caroline (Matt), Cece, Dean (Lizz) and Cynnie (Mike); as well as 18 nieces and nephews; one great-niece and one and a half great-nephews.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 21, at Michelotti- Sawyers Mortuary, 1001 Alderson Ave. Following the interment in Holy Cross cemetery, a reception will be held at the Knights of Columbus on Grand Avenue.
