Coltin Wayne Geertz, 16, of Billings, was born on Nov. 7, 2003, and passed away on Jan. 15, 2020.
A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary, 1001 Alderson Ave.
Coltin enjoyed the great outdoors. He always had the desire for adventure hunting, fishing and camping with his father Eric and brother Bradley, along with his chocolate lab, Chewy. At a young age, he could build or repair whatever challenged his imagination. He became a young entrepreneur, building a business called Happy Lawn Care, because a green law does not mow itself. Then, during the winter, he had Slippery Sidewalks snow removal.
Coltin was preceded in death by his mother, Cheryl Geertz; his grandfather, Ernest Kerns; and his uncles, Jerry Kerns and Kieth Geertz. He is survived by his father Eric and brother Bradley; his grandparents, Harry Geertz and Lois Geertz, and Elsie Kerns; his aunt Gina and uncle Tyler Harris; uncle Nick and aunt Maria Geertz; aunt Laura Kerns; his cousins, Zack, Nathan, Mason and Payton Harris, and Isabel and Diego Geertz, and Crystal Kerns.
Coltin has touched the hearts of many friends and family.
He will always be near a love that never fades.
Our Lord has Coltin in His arms, securing him with eternal love in Heaven above.
