Connie C. Sider

Connie C. Sider passed away peacefully after an extended stay at RiverStone Hospice House on April 5, 2023.

She was born in Billings, Montana, on Aug. 18, 1946, and lived all of her life in Billings. She attended Newman Elementary School, Garfield Junior High School and graduated from Billings West High School in 1963. Following high school, she graduated from Billings Business College and then worked many years for a CPA who was one of her instructors in college.

The love of Connie’s life was her family, her church and her yard. She enjoyed music and many hobbies, such as cross stitch and crewel embroidery. Her first involvement at Bethlehem Lutheran Church was in Sunday School and then Luther League. She followed her parents’ footsteps worshipping faithfully, and later serving as the church treasurer and in the Women’s Group. She especially enjoyed the Pastor’s bible studies.

Connie started her own accounting business as her parents grew older so she could care for them and work in her home. She was a quiet, softspoken person, but she would speak up boldly when she felt strongly about something.

Connie is survived by her brother, Chuck Sider and his wife Debbie; her two nephews, Kevin Sider and his family (Roni and Harrison) and Nathan Sider and his family (Melissa, Amelia and Austin); several cousins; and especially her church friends.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, April 10, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 40 10th St. West.
