Dale Dean Smith

Dale Dean Smith passed away on October 20, 2015. Dale was born on May 30, 1925 in Comanche, MT. to Paul and Grace Smith. He graduated from Billings Senior High School. A US Navy WWII Veteran serving in the military for 28 years. He worked for the US Postal Service for 34 years retiring in Park City as the Post Master.

Dale is preceded in death by his parents and four brother’s Jim, Mike, Harold and Herb. He is survived by his wife Embernetta, Sister Juanita Stricker, Son Gordon/Susie, Daughter Cherie Caverly, Grandson Tanner/Lindsay, Peter, Caroline, Conrad. Daughter Karen Frison, Granddaughter Jennifer Leon/Jessie, Rylie and Olivia. Grandson Chris Rawlins, Sage. Daughter Robin Standley/John, Grandson’s Arik Hill, Keven/Sarah, Isabella and Olivia. Jordan/Keri, Miles and Hudson. Numerous Nephew’s and Niece’s, having a special relationship with Nephew Justin Lehmann. Numerous In-Law’s and many dear friend’s. He kept his sense of humor to the end and he will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him and those who will forever love him.

Viewing will be held at Michelotti -Sawyers Saturday, October 24, 2015 1:00 to 4:00pm. Military Services 2:00 pm Monday October 26, 2015 at Yellowstone National Cemetery, Laurel, MT
