Dana Susan Miller

Dana Susan Miller, born Dec. 27, 1975, age 47, passed away on April 25, 2023, surrounded by family, friends and staff.

Dana was born and raised in Montana. She spent the majority of her life living with her parents and her brother. Dana went to Senior High School. While she didn’t graduate, she did get a full education. She left high school to go to COR Day Program. Until her day of passing, Dana participated in the COR program and loved going every day.

In 2020, Dana and Tom moved into Residential Support Services, where Dana spent the next two and a half years living at the Granger Group Home. Dana loved her group home; she loved her staff and housemates. Dana enjoyed spending time doing puzzles and craft projects. She enjoyed dressing up in her dresses and full jewelry, even when she was staying home. In Dana’s younger years, she enjoyed going to MD (Muscular Dystrophy) camp with her brother Tom, as well as participating in Special Olympics events.

Dana leaves behind her dad, Everette and stepmom Linda, as well as aunts, uncles and cousins. She has been reunited with her mom Elaine and her brother Tom.

Dana was a happy, easygoing lady who holds a special place in the hearts of everyone that she met. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed. Till we see you again, friend, know you will always be in our hearts.

A memorial service will be at 3:30 p.m. Friday, May 12, at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary, 1001 Alderson Ave. Reception to follow at Options, 1120 16th St. West, #1.
