Delores Elaine Ruud

Delores Elaine Ruud, born March 15, 1954, in Atlanta, Georgia, died on Oct. 20, 2018, in Billings. Elaine was a caring person who enjoyed meeting new people who soon became a friend. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother and friend. She spent her life doing many things that brought her joy. While living in Daniels County, she helped at Flaxville School and Whitetail Post Office and Flaxville and Pleasant Prairie Church groups. Later, after moving to Billings, she added to her community of friends through both Dillards and Target. She enjoyed quilting, watching grandchildren, bunnies and the occasional Starbucks coffee. Elaine also enjoyed trips with her husband.

In 2017, she began her battle with metastatic pancreatic cancer. She fought bravely, and for as long as she could.

Elaine is survived by her loving husband, Norman; father Charles (Mildred) Clonts; sisters Diane (Gene) Hickman and Susan (Steve) Faulk; brother Mark (Rhonda) Clonts; daughters Amy (Russ) Motschenbacher and Wendy Anderson; son Corey Cantrell; five grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and so many fabulous friends. She is preceded in death by mother Louis Fitts and stepfather Marvin Fitts; and granddaughter Stormy Motschenbacher.

Elaine wishes for no services and "I only want flowers when I am alive."
