On the eve of Dec. 1, 2011 Donna Jean Ross died unexpectedly in her home from a stroke and went to be with her Savior Jesus Christ.

She was born on June 11, 1940, in Scottsbluff, Neb. She married the love of her life, Bob Ross, Nov. 29, 1959. Together they had three children, Robin (Jay), children Brad, Lane and Wade; Christy (Wayne), children, Kaylie, Kimmie and Logan; and David (Sheri), children Samantha (Guy), Matthew and Jacob.

Donna was a devoted nurse at the Billings Clinic for 25 years until her retirement. She enjoyed Bible Study, Red Hat Society, Merry Widows, Global Grannies and spending time with family and friends.

Donna was an incredible loving wife, mother and grandmother and a great friend to all. She always had an ear to listen and everyone felt safe and loved being with her. She loved God and loved people well. Our peace comes knowing she is home in heaven in the presence of the God of the universe and being with dad again.

Donna was preceded in death by her loving husband of 49 years, her mom, dad, brother and son-in-law, Brett Chytraus.

Donna’s funeral will be at Faith Chapel on Saturday, Dec. 10, 2011 at 11 a.m. Memorials may be sent to Faith Chapel or Relay for Life.
