Douglas James Daum, 68, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, April 18, 2017, going to meet his old rodeo horses Pass and Socks.
The son of Bill and Irma Daum, Doug was born May 7, 1948, in Lewistown. He started farming and ranching with his parents in Pryor at age 13. He was very dedicated to his work. He ran good cattle and raised good wheat.
Doug was an avid horseman. He was a kind man who was liked by everyone. He had a great sense of humor and loved to tease; he never complained about anything. His favorite saying was "On the Road Again."
Doug is survived by his wife, Connie; sisters, Vicki Leuenberger (Roy) and Michelle Haskins (Ray); two nephews; four great-nieces and nephew; many lifelong friends; and his best friends, dogs, Joey and Moochie.
Doug was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Irma.
He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Cremation has taken place. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 29, at St. Charles Mission. A reception will follow the services.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to St. Charles Mission.
