Ed Landon passed away peacefully Saturday evening, Jan. 7, 2017, at 88 years old. Born the fifth of six children to Leslie and Edith Mae Sines Landon on May 31, 1928, he was raised in Bearcreek, Mont. He married Grace White on Dec. 1, 1946, in Red Lodge. They then moved to Billings in 1947. He began work at Nye's Dairy in 1948, retiring in 1986 after 38 years.
Dad loved to fish, hunt and camp in the Beartooth Mountains and along the Yellowstone River. He loved racing cars and dogs.
He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Grace; sons Robert Landon Sr. of Billings, Jack (Cyndie) Landon of Thornton, Colo.; daughters Renee Zolman of Westminster, Colo., Kathy (Patrick) Breshears of Billings; sisters Gladys Forstner of Billings and Pat (Bill) Rivers of Fromberg; nine grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m., with memorial service at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 13, at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary, 1001 Alderson Ave.
