Edwin "Ed" Andrew Miller, of Billings, such a kind, tenderhearted father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend, passed from this world on Nov. 29, 2016.
A graduate of Montana State University School of Nursing in 1978, Ed gave more than 35 years to humanity in the nursing profession, including ICU Flight for Life, emergency room, surgery and recovery room duties. He retired from the RN profession a few years ago to spend more time with his two passions, his grandchildren and the game of golf, not necessarily in that order. Though his world revolved around golf, he found ways to combine his interests by taking his granddaughter, Alex, to golf lessons and was planning the same for her younger brother, Liam. He was a longtime member at Pryor Creek Golf Club in Huntley, where he played, boasting two holes-in-one on #12.
Ed, your family and friends are taken by surprise and saddened by your sudden and early departure from us at age 66. The kind words and memories that your endless spirit and soul evokes from your family and friends is a testament that your life full of love and compassion for others lifts our reality closer to our creator.
Survivors include his former wife, Kris Miller, their son Mathew (Lindsey) Miller and their children Alex and Liam; his brother, Richard (Sally) Miller and their sons Andrew (Nicole) and Nathaniel (Cathy) and their children Eleanor and Henry. Ed was preceded in death by his brother, Ronald Miller; mother Iola Miller; father Bruce Miller; and stepmother Amelia Miller.
