Eilene Dullum-Fay, of Billings, formerly of Appam, N.D., passed away on Nov. 23, 2017, at St John's Lutheran Home in Billings, at the age of 95.
Eilene was born Dec. 1, 1921, to Elden and Olida Johnson, at the family farm west of Appam. She graduated from Alamo High School and earned a one-year teaching certificate from Minot Teachers College. Following college, she taught in a rural school before marrying Roy Dullum of the Appam/Alamo area and beginning their life together on a small farm near Appam. Eilene and Roy had five children (Ron, Cyndy, DonnaRae, Jim and Linda) who are now living in various states.
Eilene was an active participant in numerous local organizations, and was a devoted and dedicated mother. She moved to Williston following the death of her husband Roy in 1984. In 1999, she married Charles Fay. Following the death of Charles in 2015, Eilene moved to St. John's Lutheran Home in Billings, where she has been until her death.
A funeral for Eilene will be held at Calvary Lutheran Church of Alamo, N.D., but will be delayed until late spring 2018. Following the service, interment will be held at Hauge Lutheran Cemetery south of Alamo.
The family suggests that all memorials be directed to St John's Lutheran Home of Billings, Calvary Lutheran Church of Alamo, or the charity of your choice.
