Floyd J. Boland

Floyd J. Boland, a beloved father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully at his home in Billings, Montana, on April 2, 2025, at the age of 93. Born on March 22, 1932, in Sidney, Montana, Floyd lived a fulfilling life enriched by his family, career, and passions.

Floyd dedicated 33 years of his professional life to Mountain Bell and AT&T, where he made lasting contributions and friendships. A proud veteran of the United States Air Force, he demonstrated a commitment to service that epitomized his character. Floyd was actively involved in his community, attending Harvest Church and participating in the trap club, showcasing his love for camaraderie and outdoor activities.

Floyd had a zest for life that was evident in his numerous interests, including hunting and traveling. His adventures provided him with cherished memories, often shared with family and friends. He was known for his warmth, kindness, and unwavering support, which drew many to him and left a significant impact on those who had the privilege of knowing him.

Floyd is preceded in death by his loving wife, Mari Rita, and his daughter, Tracy. He is survived by his two sons, Tim and Tom Boland, along with his cherished grandson, Evan.

A memorial service to honor Floyd's remarkable life will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary, located at 1001 Alderson Ave., Billings, MT. Following the service, burial will take place to lay him to rest.
