Francis ‘Bill’ Grovesept. 22, 1925 To Dec. 5, 2017

Longtime Billings resident Francis "Bill" Grove passed away among family on Tuesday.

Francis "Bill" Grove was born in Shepherd on Sept. 22, 1925, to Genevieve and Andrew Grove. Bill was the oldest brother to four siblings, Elizabeth, Gerald, Phyllis and Helen. He was married to Loraine Klos in 1946. Loraine Grove passed away in 2009.

Loraine and Bill raised two children, Sandra Grove and Edward Grove. The last years of his life, he relocated to Denver to be nearer to family.

Preceding Bill in death are his parents; two sisters, Helen and Phyllis; his wife, Loraine; and daughter Sandra. He is survived by his sister, Liz; brother Gerald; his son, Edward; son-in-law Gus; and grandchildren Eric, Andrea and Ryan. Bill also has two great-grandchildren, Ethan and Avery; and surviving nieces and nephews in Montana, Washington and Arizona.

Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 11, at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary, 1001 Alderson Ave., Billings.

Luncheon at the Elks Lodge (1 p.m.) is planned following burial at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
