Frank S. Clark

March 17, 1924 to December 12, 2024

At 3:00 AM, on March 17, 1924, Frank Samuel Clark was born to Clinton R. Clark and Nellie T. Clark, in Laredo, Montana thirteen miles southwest of Havre. He attended school in Laredo, Townsend, and Havre, graduating from Havre high school in 1942.

After graduation, Frank volunteered for military duty, serving with distinction, until 1946. He served in the 912* Ordnance, in the 3rd Army under the Command of General George Patton, in the Campaigns in Normandy and Northern France, the Rhineland, and Central Europe, in the World War II European Theater.

After World War II, he moved from Havre to Billings, Montana and started working with the Telephone Company. He married, and produced two children, David Torgerson and Stephanie Mehus. Divorced, and some years later he met and married the Love of his Life, Marjorie Clanton Clark. Two Loving Hearts were United as One. This wonderful marriage produced one son, Douglas M. Clark.

Moving on from the Telephone Company, Frank greatly enjoyed working as a salesman for wholesale hardware companies, where his customers were also his very good friends. His wonderful ability to start and continue long-lasting friendships was amazing. As anyone who met him would soon realize his friendships, young or old, were greatly treasured.

He was a wonderful husband, the best father a son could have, and he loved his family and friends very, very much. Frank was a good man; and he will be very greatly missed.
