Gary Joseph Seiffert passed away on June 3, 2016, at the Billings Clinic.

He was born on Dec. 20, 1940, in Billings, the son of Joe and Betty Seiffert. Gary was raised on the family farm in Lockwood and attended Billings Senior High School and Montana State University, where he obtained a degree in business administration. Gary was employed as a contract specialist for the Gallatin National Forest in Bozeman and then the Lolo National Forrest in Missoula until his retirement.

He was married to Marlene Spadt, and they had one child. Later in life, he was married to Theresa Brosseau, with whom he had many happy years together until she passed away in 1992.

Gary's passion was classic cars that he worked on and displayed in car shows.

His parents; his wife, Theresa Brosseau; and his brother-in-law Don Reichert preceded him in death. He is survived by his sister and brother, Eileen Reichert and Terry Seiffert of Billings; his son, Johnny Seiffert of Billings; his grandchildren, Jacob Seiffert and Joshua Seiffert of Red Lodge; his stepchildren, Dan Brosseau of Chicopee, Mass., and Danielle Johnson of Portland, Ore.; his nephews and niece, Toby Erickson of Louisville, Colo., Rusty Reichert and daughter Ella of Lynnwood, Wash., Rachelle (Michael) Tylo and daughters Kollette and Gianna of Henderson, Nev.; and numerous cousins.

Gary was loved and will be greatly missed by all.

Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, June 10, at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary, 1001 Alderson Ave., with interment in the Pleasantview Cemetery in Ballantine.
