Geraldine "Gerry" (Giest) Staley
March 9, 1932 — April 8, 2024
Geraldine “Gerry” Giest Staley, 92, went to be with her Lord and Savior on April 8, 2024, in Billings. In her early years, she grew up in Fromberg and Park City, Montana.
After graduation, she met and married Jim Staley on May 13, 1950, and moved to West Billings, where they farmed and ranched. They were together 65 years until Jim’s passing in 2015.
Gerry is survived by her three children: sons John (wife Linda), Ron (wife Cindy) and daughter Doreen Staley Sackman (husband Walt).
She was blessed with seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.
Gerry enjoyed going to church and spending time with her family. She also enjoyed time spent playing games with friends and keeping a perfect house and yard.
We will miss her dearly.
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, May 13, at Pilgrim Congregational Church, 409 S. 36th St.
