Helen Agnes Kreiner, 87 of Billings, was born March 27, 1918 in Hammond, Indiana to Steven and Alice (Cameron) Panko. She died February 2, 2006 in Billings.

After "finishing the trim" in her Heavenly palace, Christ welcomed His servant home.

Through Helen, God graced our world with a woman of compassion, grace, and prevailing optimism. Assembly-line work on speedometers and machine guns during WWII, a beautiful 61 year marriage, and six lovingly-reared children mark a few of several achievements in a life devoted to God. Helen had a passion for sewing, a skill she passed to several of her grandchildren.

After moving to Montana in 1941, Helen and her husband Dan began their family. Overflowing with Christ's love, Helen passed it to each of her children. She perfected the traits of hospitality and compassion. Her home and heart perfected the traits of hospitality and compassion. Her home and heart were always open, and all who enjoyed her company left feeling warmer.

Thank you Lord, for blessing us with a Wife of noble character, a Mother called "blessed" by her children, a Grandmother whose patience never ended, a Great-Grandmother whose lap was never too full, and a friend by whom we truly felt loved.

Helen is survived by her children, Bob (Marilyn) Kreiner of Billings, Ed (Kathi) Kreiner of Meridian, ID, Mary Lindbo of Billings, Theresa (Stuart) McDonald of Columbus, and Helen Holmes of Billings; her sister Gertie St. Onge of Kalispell; her 16 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dan Kreiner; her son Danny; and her son-in-law, Daryl Holmes.

A Vigil will be held at 7:00 P.M., Monday, February 6, at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary. A Memorial Mass will be 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, at St. Pius X Church. The Rite of Committal will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
