Henry (Hank) Glasser passed away on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at the age of 85. Hank was born on April 5, 1932 in Mott, ND and was the youngest of Kasper and Ceclia (Barth) Glaser's six children. He grew up attending school in a one room schoolhouse from grades one through eight. He attended Mott High School, leaving in the spring of his senior year to assist on the family farm during the Korean War. He was united in marriage to Rose Wolf on September 20, 1954. They moved to Billings, MT in 1957 and raised four children together. He was a self-taught contractor and spent most of his life working in construction with Rose at his side. Together, they designed and built numerous homes and businesses throughout the Billings area. After 39 years of marriage, Hank lost his wife Rose to cancer in 1994. He was remarried to Karen Staley in 2001. Hank and Karen enjoyed dancing the polka, their time at the lake, and gatherings with their families. Karen passed away in 2011 after a brief fight with cancer. Hank was active as the president of Terra-Two Home Association for the next many years in the last place he would call home. He will be greatly missed by all who were lucky enough to have him in their lives. We will never forget his kindness, helping hands, wisdom, laughter and genuine love for his fellow man. Hank was called to Heaven having lost two sons; Jeff in 1997 and Randy in 2014, and one great-grandson, Beau in 2014. His parents, two brothers, and three sisters have all preceded him in death. In his own words: "I'll turn off the lights if I'm the last one to go." Hank is survived by his daughters Sherry (Steve) Studer of Billings, and Sandra Converse of Colorado, five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, four step- children and many extended family. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church on Friday, August 4th at 10:00 A.M. with burial of the ashes at Holy Cross Cemetery. Vigil Service will be 7:00 P.M. Thursday at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary. Memorials may be made to Riverstone Hospice Home or the St. Thomas Parish building fund in Hank's name.
