Howard Clinton Love

Howard Clinton Love, 94, of Billings, left this world to begin his eternal camping trip. Howard was born in Columbus on Dec. 21, 1922, to Ethel (Granny) and Richard Love.

Howard honorably served his country in the U.S. Army from 1943 to 1945. He then met the love of his life, Lucile, and they were married Sept. 29, 1949, and spent almost 68 years of happy married life together. Howard and Lucile loved going camping and fishing every chance they had. Throughout their lifetime together, they had two furbabies, Rex and Buffy, who were their best companions. Howard and Lucile also enjoyed many trips to casinos nationwide and enjoyed spending time with their nephews, and will be greatly missed.

Howard is survived by his wife, Lucile Love; sister-in-law, Evie Love; nephew, Randy Love (and family); niece, Jan Lutz (and family) and sister-in-law, Donna Esp (and family).

Short viewing will be from 1 to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 7, at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary and Crematory, 1001 Alderson Ave. Private family burial will follow after the viewing.
