Jack Sterling Pulliam, 84, of Billings, in the arms of angels, was delivered to the Lord on Sunday, April 9, 2017.

Jack was born in East Lynn, Missouri, on July 16, 1932, to Harold and Glada (Ammon) Pulliam. As a boy, along with his brother and sister, the family moved to Stockton, California.

In 1956, he met his beautiful wife of 60 years, Rita Howard. They married in 1958 and, in 1961, they moved to Montana to begin their life together.

A builder, Jack took pride in his work, striving for perfection in all things. He was a strong man with integrity and compassion. He was generous and dependable. He had the gift of gab accompanied by a quick wit and wonderful sense of humor. A devoted husband and father, Jack's life source came from his love for his wife and kids.

Jack is survived by his sister, Lela Bowden; son Steven Pulliam; daughters, Vicki Clark (Jim), Janet Caudill (Matt), Jacque Eaton (Dexter) and Jilene Pulliam. Jack had seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren whom he adored.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother and adored wife.

The uniqueness that was Jack will forever be imprinted on those who knew him.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 20, at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary, 1001 Alderson Ave., with interment in Yellowstone Valley Memorial Park.
