Jacob Ronald Wolff, 21, passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home the morning of March 9, 2018, in Billings. Jacob was born with a rare syndrome (MOPD/3) which caused him many health issues throughout his short life; however, his loss was very sudden and unexpected. Jacob was born on February 11, 1997, in Billings, MT, to Dennis and Sheila Wolff. He joined his two older brothers, Cory and Tanner. Jacob attended numerous elementary schools in town, Riverside Middle School and West High, graduating in 2017.
He was an artist at heart, and had a passion for drawing, and wrote stories and movie scripts to express his creative side. He loved drawing cartoons and sharing his masterpieces with family and friends. Jacob was also a collector of many figurines and had a backpack full wherever he went. Jacob loved music and could often be seen with his headphones on and his head bobbing to the beat of the music. Our hunting buddy was up for any adventure as long as there was a truckload of snacks packed - he loved to eat! Like all adolescent boys, Jacob loved the girls, and when given the opportunity, he loved to pose for pictures, which he collected on his phone and truly cherished.
People were drawn to his charisma, his very unique way of relating to each person he knew or had just met, and his contagious smile. Jacob inspired people to be more kind and accepting of others. He was a gift from God to his family and was loved beyond measure. He will be truly missed by all who had the privilege to know him. Jacob's favorite prayer, which will always remain in our hearts is "Thank you, Lord, Amen."
Jacob is survived by his parents Dennis and Sheila Wolff; brothers Cory (Nikki) and Tanner (Alex), all of Billings; grandparents Ron and Cindy Marlenee, Carmen and Walt Ware, Norma Wolff, and Norma Karlson; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; his special friend Troy Johnson; and many others too numerous to mention. Jacob was preceded in death by his grandfather Aubrey Wolff and Orlis Karlson.
