Jan (Jeanette) Schroeder

Jan (Jeanette) Schroeder was born July 18, 1943, in Los Angeles. She passed away of natural causes on May 21, 2017, at her home in Billings.

Jan grew up in South Dakota and also lived in Minnesota, Colorado and Montana. She worked for most of her adult life for NAPA Auto Parts in various positions, retiring as customer service manager. After her retirement from NAPA, she continued to work in the areas of managing mobile home developments and home health care, as she liked to stay busy and involved in her community. Jan also loved reading, traveling, laughing, cooking and socializing with her friends and family.

She is preceded in death by her son, Travis; and her parents, Bob and Peg Schwabauer. She is survived by her daughter, Rita Johnston; two grandsons, Dylan and Dalton Johnston; and sisters Carol Gross, Shirley (Paul) Hanson and Patty (Craig) Manawes. She also leaves behind a niece, nephews, aunts, cousins and friends at each location she lived.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 22, at Shiloh United Methodist Church, 1810 Shiloh Road, in Billings.
