Janice J. Tormaschy

Janice J. Tormaschy, age 75, of Billings, MT, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 20, 2025. Born on March 14th, 1950, in Edgeley, ND, Janice was a beloved and cherished family member.

Janice was a graduate of Hardin High School and had a varied career, working as a beautician, in food service at West High, and as a pharmacy technician, among other roles. On July 11th, 1970, Janice married the love of her life, Ervin, whom she met at the Point. Their union was blessed with four children: David Tormaschy, Rochelle (Paul) Ripley, Gail (Brian) Moon, and Travis (Aly) Tormaschy.

Janice was also a proud grandmother to seven grandchildren and a great-grandmother to one. Janice had a special affection for animals, particularly her many cats and dogs. She enjoyed spending time in her flower beds and engaging in arts and crafts, such as crocheting and painting ceramic figures. Janice also loved reading, fishing, and bowling. Her passions brought beauty and joy to her life and those around her.

She was preceded in death by her grandson Bridger, her sister Ann, and her brother Leroy. Janice is survived by her loving husband Erv, her children, her siblings Vi, Ray, Chris, and Darlene, her grandchildren Ryder, Zoee, Reagan, Cassidy, Anna, and Caleb, and her great-grandchild Karter.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on March 28th, 2025, at St. Pius X.

Janice will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of love and treasured memories.
