Jeannie Glennon

Jeanne Theresa (Studer) Glennon went to be with the Lord on March 2, 2012 after a long battle with an illness that she handled with grace, humor and just a little attitude.

Born December 28th 1959 to Ralph and Cemie Studer in Billings, MT. Jeanne was the fourth of nine children. Her childhood was full of happy memories with her family. She attended Fratt Elementary, Billings Central Catholic High School, and graduated from Eastern Montana College. While at Central she met the love of her life, Joe Glennon. They were a couple almost instantly and were together from then on. Jeanne and Joe were joined in marriage on July 24, 1980. They have six children and a life filled with love and happiness. She taught at the Catholic schools for a number of years and loved all her students. Her home is still decorated with their gifts long after her illness forced her to retire.

She was a long-standing book club member with her dear friends and enjoyed sister parties whenever they could. She enjoyed camping and hiking with her kids and friends. She felt blessed to spend the last year of her life living with her mother-in-law Joyce Glennon.

Jeanne was a warm and giving person who was always willing to do whatever was needed, from bringing a meal to taking in one of her kids friends. She could always be counted on for a warm smile, a big hug and a few words of encouragement. Her greatest joy was her children and grandchildren. She loved spoiling her grandkids and no matter how sick she always wanted to do what she could for them. Her death will leave a big hole in countless people's lives.

She is preceded in death by her sister Suzanne Studer, her granddaughter Gracie Jo Glennon, her father-in-law William Bernard Glennon and Brothers-in-law William Patrick Glennon and Robert Eakin. Jeanne is survived by husband Joe Glennon and kids Jacque (Shane) Berumen, Bobbie (Mike) Hunter, Nancy (Steve) Rushford, William (Tiffany) Glennon, Joe (Holly) Glennon, and Suzanne Glennon, and grandkids Gina and Kelsey Rushford, Matthew Glennon-Berumen, David, Adam and Katie Berumen, Destiny Fodero, and Macie Glennon and one on the way. Her parents Ralph J. and Cemie Studer, her siblings Steve (Sherry) Studer, Marie (Walter) Hudyma, Julie (Dan) McQuinn, Ralph P. (Kim) Studer, Kelly Studer, Michelle (Tim Larkin) Studer, and Jim (Andrea) Studer. Her mother-in-law Joyce (Thelen) Glennon and all her kids, the Glennon, Unquera, Reas, Winchell and Eakin families. There are also numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and loved ones, to many to name.

Services will be at St. Thomas Church with a rosary on Monday March 5th at 7pm and the funeral on Tuesday March 6th at 10 am.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that you send flowers and perfume to someone you love.
