Jennie E. Ennis, 88 of Billings, died Saturday, May 6, 2006 at Valley Health Care.
The daughter of Anton and Agnes Peterson, Jennie was born July 24, 1917 southwest of Minot. Jennie moved to Minot in 1936 and married Lester Ennis in 1938. He preceded her in death in October 1979.
Jennie worked in several stores in Minot being employed at Ellison's for many years. She belonged to the Zion Lutheran Church and the Eagle's Auxiliary.
She is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Emma Estenson, and Mabel Ness and two brothers, Alvin and Albin Peterson.
Survivors include her daughter Bonnie Rockwood of Billings, two grandchildren, Lori Frank (Dan) and Brad Owen (Lynn) and four great grandsons, Michael, Tyler, and Cole Frank, and Matt Owen.
Private family services with interment in Rosehill Cemetery, Minot, ND are planned.
Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary and Thomas Funeral Home have charge of arrangements.
