In Loving Memory of Jennifer Hamlet

Jennifer Hamlet, of Billings, Montana, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was born on May 6, 1955, in Oelwein, Iowa, to Russell and Eileen Castor. Jennifer was the youngest of nine children, spending her childhood in Iowa and Minnesota.

She graduated from Audubon High School in Audubon, Minnesota and pursued a nursing education at Detroit Lakes Technical College, also in Minnesota. On May 17, 1980, Jennifer married Marc Hamlet in Fargo, North Dakota.

Jennifer is survived by her loving husband Marc of Billings, Montana, her sons Brian (Natashia) and Derek, and her cherished grandchildren Audrihanna and Josiah. She is also survived by her brother Dany (Judy) Castor; sisters Lynn Lucich, Karen (Jim) Larson, Susan (Edwin) Boeve; special niece Eryca (Paris) Dolph, and many nephews and nieces. Additionally, she leaves behind her Great Aunt Marilyn Bates. She is preceded in death by her parents and four brothers.

The family extends their heartfelt thanks to all the caregivers, friends, and neighbors who supported Jennifer during her final days.

Jennifer will be remembered for her infectious laughter, her warmth, and the lasting impact she had on the lives of those who knew her. She will forever be in our hearts.
