Joann (Taylor) Driscoll

JoAnn (Taylor) Driscoll, age 73, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 3, 2017. JoAnn was born in Ephrata, WA on October 19, 1943 to Duane and Catherine (Lynch) Taylor. She attended elementary school in Connell, WA and graduated from Walla Walla High School in 1961. She attended Washington State University and completed Seattle Dental Assistants Technicians School in 1962. JoAnn married Tom Driscoll of Anaconda, MT on June 11, 1966. Jo Ann and Tom lived in California and Colorado while Tom worked in the aerospace industry. During this time, JoAnn was active, as well as worked in the Catholic churches in both states. After Tom’s retirement, they moved to Billings, MT. During her time in Billings, she volunteered as a homebound Extraordinary Minister for St. Pius X Parish. Her volunteer ministry also included many hours working on the coffee cart, in addition to Communion Ministry to patients in Saint Vincent HEALTHCARE.

JoAnn was preceded in death by her parents Duane and Catherine Taylor, her brother Dean and her loving husband, Tom, in April of 2017.

She is survived by her sister Carol (Ray) Meadows of Columbia Falls and her sister-in-law Linda Taylor of Kalispell. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Jack and Diana Driscoll, Manhattan Beach, CA, Mary Ellen and Don James and Cathy Downey of Billings and Betty Ann and John Strawn of Spokane, WA. JoAnn will also be missed by many nieces and nephews whom she loved very much.

The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11AM Friday, September 8, 2017 at St. Pius X Church.
