JoAnne (Yelich) Nauman, 79 of Billings, passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2011. The daughter of Joe and Anna Yelich, she was born July 2, 1933 in Red Lodge, MT. She was the third of five children and attended schools in Red Lodge and Helena.

JoAnne received her nursing education at Carroll College and Seattle University. She worked at St. Vincent Hospital, Valley Nursing Home and as a private duty nurse.

JoAnne was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Nauman; infant daughter, Geraldine; and brothers Joe and Jack Yelich.

She is survived by her sons, Randy (Emma) Nauman, Billings; Tom Nauman, Round Rock, TX; daughter Kathy (Jody) Goodman, Great Falls, MT; six grandchildren, Janice, Mandy, Cole, Cambri, Brooke and Brandy; sisters, Sister Mary Geraldine Yelich, Kansas City, KS, and Lucy (Joe) Guilbault, Lakeside, MT; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 27th at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary. Funeral Mass will be 11am Wednesday, December 28th at St. Pius X Church with Rite of Committal at Mountview Cemetery.
