Joyce Gaynell Baumann

Joyce Gaynell Baumann, 84 of Billings, passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at Valley Health Care Center.
The daughter of Roy L, and Leona Alexander, Joyce was born January 27, 1927 in Wagner Oklahoma. She graduated from high school in Jenks, Oklahoma. She married Ray Baumann in Bridger, MT on March 28, 1946. They moved to Oklahoma in 1950 returning to Bridger in 1954 and have made their home in Billings since 1955. Joyce had worked as a bookkeeper for various businesses until retiring in 1979.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church, and had belonged to a miniature's club for many years. She enjoyed crafts, sewing and crewel embroidery.
Joyce was a loving mother, dedicated to her family and home.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Ray Baumann, three children and their families, daughter, Candace Godfrey, her husband Earl and their children Wendy and Jason and his daughter Olivia; daughter, Sandra Watson, her children Mindy and her children Jake and Jenna and Trevor (Melinda) and their children Phillip and Madeline; and son Ron Baumann, his wife Elizabeth and their children Pierce and Aaron.
Visitation will be held from 1-5pm Sunday. Funeral services will be 1pm Monday at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary with interment at Yellowstone Valley Memorial Park.
Memorials may be made to the Yellowstone Valley Council on Aging.
