Juanita Jean Kolczak Rogina earned her wings and went to be with her Mom and Dad on May 31, 2021, at 1:03 p.m.

Juanita was born on November 4, 1955, in Great Falls, Montana, to Jerry and Sweetie Kolczak. She was raised in Landusky and attended school there until the family moved to Malta in 1968 so Betty could attend high school. She later graduated in 1974 from Malta High School. She waitressed at the Busy Bee Café in Malta and also bartended at Rogers Saloon for several years.

She married Randy Rhoads in 1976 and, out of that reunion, two children were born: Jay in 1977 and Tangie in 1979. They resided in Malta and, for a time, managed the Mustang Lanes, where they made the best homemade pizzas around. They later divorced, and she and Jay and Tangie moved to Landusky with her mom and dad, where she worked at the mine as a Security Guard. Juanita met Robert Taylor and they were together 14 years and, as a bonus, have grandkids living in Wyoming. She met her husband of 21 years, Scott Rogina and they have resided in Billings throughout the years, where they enjoyed fishing, camping, going to the races and spending time at Tongue River. always in July around Jay's birthday and hanging out at Tangie's place, just chillin'.

Juanita was the kindest, soft-spoken, generous and loyal person. She enjoyed spending time with her kids, the grandkids and her great-grandson. They meant the world to her and that's where she then became "Nana." She loved to have fun and was always up for a new adventure, sometimes even when she didn't want to but was coaxed into it.  She loved the times she spent at Landusky and always looked so forward to "Girls Week" at the mountains every year in July, where everyone enjoyed playing music around a good old campfire, visiting Gwartneys, and, of course, the swimming hole. She enjoyed playing her games on her iPad and also enjoyed dabbling in genealogy. Plus she was an awesome cook.

Juanita is survived by her husband, Scott Rogina, of 21 years; son Jay Rhoads of Malta and his kids Courtney, Carly and Cody and great-grandson Cylas; her daughter, Tangie (Robert) Rhoads of Billings and her kids Scotty, Jaylee (Josh), Eddy, Gracie and Casey; sisters Betty Hasler (Wade) of Malta and Connie Zanto of Harlem; nephews Chad Hasler (Kamee) of Huntley, Jory Hasler of Rico, Colorado, Darin Zanto (Emily) of Billings and Garrett Zanto (Rebecca) of Chinook, Montana; nieces Chelsea Hasler (Trevor) of Great Falls and Alisha Carter (Chuck) of Frenchtown, Montana; her brothers-in-law, Wes (Tammy) and Randy; sisters-in-law, Pam Rogina, Teri (Leon) Pattyn and Brenda Reidy; along with an aunt, two uncles, numerous cousins and all her lifelong friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jerry and Sweetie Kolczak; an infant brother, Gerald Roy Kolczak, Jr.; and also her Grandma Jewel.

A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 26, at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary, 1001 Alderson Ave., Billings. Burial will be in Landusky on Aug. 21, 2021.

I've needed you...

A million times

I've cried....

If love alone

Could have saved you....

You never would have died.

In life, I loved you dearly;

In death I love you still.

In my heart you hold a space

Where no one can every fill.

It broke my heart to lose you,

But you didn't go alone

Part of me went with you...

The day God took you home.........
