Kay L. Koch

Katherine L. "Kay" Koch, 93 of Billings, passed away Friday, June 3, 2016, at St. John's Lutheran Nursing Home.

The daughter of Harry and Katherine Stratford, Kay was born in Billings on Aug. 3, 1922. One of seven children, she was their only daughter. Kay married Fred L. Koch on Feb. 14, 1951, in Columbus. He preceded her in death on Nov. 19, 1987.

Kay worked as a waitress at the Skyview Terrace in the Billings Airport and had a passion for crossword puzzles. She was a longtime member of Church of the Little Flower.

Kay is survived by her son Jim and his wife Lisa and grandchildren Stephen and Emily of Kirkland, Wash.; and two brothers, Chuck Stratford of Kansas and Dick Stratford of Billings.

The Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 9, at Mary Queen of Peace, with Rite of Committal in Holy Cross Cemetery. The casket will be open prior to services at the church at 10 a.m. Thursday.
